Saw this guy perched at Haine's Point a couple of weeks ago. I believe he was injured-- he let me walk right up to him and snap this shot with my camera phone. Probably wasn't a good idea to get so close. It was an interesting thing to encounter on a ride in the city.

I don't know much about birds. Looks pretty close to this.

Here's the view from my handlebars on Beach Dr. in Rock Creek Park when I got the call that the arbitration panel ruled in favor of the USADA against Floyd Landis.

This was a couple minutes after DC Mayor Adrian Fenty pedaled by me in the opposite direction on his tri-bike with a police escort. This is a pretty regular occurance in beloved Ward IV.
